Amish Recordsは、P.G. Sixのセカンドアルバム『The Well of Memory』（2004年発表）の拡張ゲートフォールド2枚組LPバージョンのリリースを発表します。この2025年拡張エディションは、Meredyth Sparksによる美しく生まれ変わった新しいアートワークをまとい、さらに『Lost and Live』と題されたボーナスLPが付属します。ボーナスLPには、『The Well of Memory』のセッションから未発表曲6曲と、アルバム収録曲のライブバージョンが数曲収録されています。
P.G. Sixの好評を博したファーストアルバム『Parlor Tricks and Porch Favorites』で導入された多くのテーマを引き継ぎつつ、『The Well Of Memory』は、Bert Jansch、Pentangle、Incredible String Band、John Faheyといった60年代のフォークアーティストにさらなる敬意を表しています。同時に、ニューヨークのサイケフォークの代表格であるDevendra Banhardt、アングロフォークの伝統主義者Alasdair Roberts、Six Organs of AdmittanceのウェストコーストサイケギタリストBen Chasnyといった現代のミュージシャンとも共鳴する作品です。Patの歌詞は物語の力を借り、夢のようなシーケンスの間に明瞭な瞬間を広げる抽象的なパターンで神話が紡がれます。ニューヨーク州北部の都市の喧騒から離れて作曲された彼の音楽は、厳粛なスピリチュアルのように息づいています。
