Oh Sees, Damaged Bug などとして活動するおなじみ John Dwyer が新たにジャズ・スーパー・グループ Bent Arcana を結成し、セルフ・タイトルのデビュー・アルバムを Castle Face Records から8/21にリリースします。バンドメンバーは、Oh Sees から Tom Dolas (keys) と Brad Caulkins (saxophone)、そのほかには、TV on the Radio の Kyp Malone (modular synthesizer)、Thurston Moore や Charles Gayle と共演する Ryan Sawyer (drums and vocals)、Prettiest Eyes の Marcos Rodriguez (guitar)、Feels の Laena “Geronimo” Myers-Ionita (violin)、Joce Soubiran (tenor sax) そして Flying Lotus や Nick Waterhouse と共演する Andres Renteria (percussion) という編成です。そしてそちらの作品から先行シングル “The Gate” が公開されました。
