2021年春、Ring Van Möbiusは、パフォーマーであり振付家でもあるHarald Beharieから、彼の次のソロ・パフォーマンスの音楽を担当するよう打診された。この名誉ある仕事は、異なる芸術表現を持つさまざまなアーティストを巻き込んだ共同作業の始まりであり、2022年1月、ノルウェーのオスロにあるダンスンス・フスで初演された ‘Batty Bwoy’ でクライマックスを迎えた。このプロジェクトはすぐにノルウェー批評家協会賞2022にノミネートされた。
しかし、このアルバムは、最終的に委嘱された作品の実際のサウンドトラックではなく、むしろ初期のヴィジョンを反映したものであり、自発的な反応であり、さらなるコラボレーションの出発点である。
デモ・レコーディングはすぐに制作された。初期のアイディアを録音したもので、このアルバムの出発点ともなった。こうして、共通の音楽素材から、似ているようで異なる3つの作品が生まれた。第1にデモ音源、第2にこの委嘱作品の音楽的成果、そして第3にまさにこのアルバムである。これは完全に発展したRing van Möbiusバージョンであり、”Commissioned Works pt II: Six Drops Of Poison” である。
